Thin skinned shell-structures are the most efficient constructions.
In this case the aesthetic of the building as a „timeless form“ is a logical result determinate by the ideal Tragverhalten.
I designed this project in cooperation with Heinz Isler. We did not win
this competition because of the incompetent jury, but nevertheless we
got a new chance now to design a concrete - shell - private- residence
on the lakeside.
